What do a knitted pink hat, a giant inflatable Duck, a mug tagged ‘I’m IN’ and a Donald Trump Misfortune Teller machine have in Common? They are all objects designed to disseminate a political message. For its latest exhibition, the Design Museum in London stages Hope to Nope: Graphics and Politics 2008-18 to reveal the power of graphic design in the social and political arenas.
